Picking through the crab meat for shells can be time consuming even if it isn't particularly complicated. That said, crab stuffed shrimp or fish seems complicated but really aren't that complicated to make.


Gotta know where to buy your crabmeat. Crabmeat from Chevy Chase Supermarket, although pricy, rarely has more than 2-3 tiny pieces of cartilage.
