Look at Ann Sacks - both the site and the store (in G'town on Wisc Ave). Lots of beautiful ideas there. I'm partial to mosaic tile, myself, but it tends to have a lot of grout so not sure how practical it is if you cook a lot. But that's a good place to start for tasteful and high-end, and they have a lot of different styles.

So just to be clear because this left room for interpretation - looking for something, nice, luxury and high end, or will just anything do?


Also, is this in NWDC? - because the concept of 'high end, luxury, high end, non tacky, high end' could be different in other parts of town.
