Not the PP, but OPs title specifically asks for fine dining. What about that is unclear? I like Ripple to, but suggesting it is no more helpful to the question OP sakes asked than pointing out that you didn't answer the question. Less, actually, since OP might mistakenly believe that Ripple is in fact fine dining.

We really enjoyed Newton's Table in Bethesda.

Blue Duck Tavern is on 24th and M. We always park on the street when we go there and the food is amazing. If for some reason you can't park on the street there is valet parking.

I haven't been to Range but recently went to Aggio, in the same space, and thought it was not that good. Incredibly, laughably expensive and the food just didn't taste good enough to justify the cost. I predict these two don't last. I think Voltaggio is over-saturating the Friendship Heights market, and I was initially excited about his restaurants!

Macon, Chevy Chase DC, very good and nice atmosphere
Redwood in Bethesda, nice space and good but not great food
