We like the Think Thin bars.

So no added sugar; I'm not sure how many grams of sugar are in them from the fruit.

+1 love Lara bars

It's counter-intuitive, but I've found that some of the ones with chocolate have less sugar than the ones without.

Don't know if you can find them there: I get Nii bars. Much better than larabars, and fairly cheap.

I love Larabars. We eat them twice a week or so and I have them stashed all over--car, purse, work bag, etc. because they are such a great "dense" snack. I use them on days when we end up being out longer than planned and I need to bump up a snack into a meal without resorting to fast food.

Some Kind bars are now just 5g of sugar. There is one that is almonds, sea salt and dark chocolate that is really good.

Was just going to suggest making your own, but 14:35 beat me to it.

I like Kind bars, personally.

Another vote for the Kind bars. Dark chocolate with sea salt is delicious and only 5 grams of sugar. They have tons of flavors though some of the varieties with fruit have more sugar than the ones with just nuts.

I know this wasn't your question exactly, but it's so super easy to make your own "Lara bars" if you have a food processor, and cheaper too. Then you can control the ingredients you put in, and make them in batches for on-the-go snacks.

Nature Valley protein bars have 6 grams of sugar, but they contain soy protein.

I just ate a maple glazed pecan and sea salt Kind bar. It had 5 grams of sugar and was very tasty.

I do not eschew all processed foods but I am ready to eliminate granola bars from my kids' diet primarily because there is so much sugar in them - just call them candy bars! The problem is that they are so darn convenient for an on the go snack. I also do not like seeing soy protein as a top ingredient. And this is even in the "healthy" bars! Can anyone recommend a brand and/or variety that is decently low in sugar and has a relatively simple ingredient list? Thanks.

I like kind bars and zbars.

I used to love Lara bars, but I found they give me 'digestive' issues! Maybe it's just me, but I've been hesitant to give them to the kids for that reason.
