We have BM Windsor Cream in our daughter's room. It's a creamy, light yellow color.

My daughter's room is a pale, creamy yellow. She has white furniture and a ruched lilac bedspread. With white and lilac sheer curtains.

I painted my son and daughter's rooms the same shade of pale violet with grey undertones.

My daughter has white furniture and my son dark furniture.

They both have pink accents in their rooms.

It works well.

When you say that you might sell in a few years, do you mean next year or in five years? I've learned that I shouldn't live in my house as if it's just a rental. I want to enjoy it while I'm there, and that means paint on the walls that makes me happy.

I love the idea of a floral theme that encompasses green and orange. The right orange can also look good against a lighter blue so you could do oranges and yellows and a more coastal vibe. Definitely +1 to the idea of hitting Pinterest and searching around.

We're about to paint my daughter's room and we'll be using a lavender shade (BM's Grape Ice) and a light green as our palette.

I did grass green and then brought it purples, grays, and tans with the rugs and curtains.

She's only two, and she loves orange... LOL. I prefer neutrals or near-neutral colors because we might sell the house in a few years.

How about a deep (not dark) peachy orange?

Gentle Repose by Benjamin Moore is a lovely neutral that can look pale pink, or peach or cream depending on the light. We have it with white trim in our DDs room. We are constantly changing up the accent colors and everything works with the walls.

I'd go with a pale/mint green, light grey, or greyish lavendar.

Orange and green look great together!

Go with pale green walls and keep the textiles cream with orange and green accents, or do a fun gardeny floral theme.

This. Cute! She'll love it .
