PP--also a bunch of ornamental grasses ( half of them keep dying though), and a Japanese maple tree.

1 large hinoki cypress, 3 nandinas, 3 small box woods, 3 knockout roses, junipers in front (low)

A riot of color. On every step of our north-facing porch, DH managed to arrange pots of marigolds, petunias and snapdragons. They have enlivened our grey flagstones since Spring!

We have shade-tolerant roses that are decidedly unimpressive, and azaleas that hide the foundations and do their bit in Spring.

Would love boxwood - I love that peculiar smell they have...
