I eat beans/lentils with every lunch and dinner. There are so many different kinds of beans and lentils out there that the variety is way more than for people who eat chicken/beef/turkey/pork with every meal.

The funny thing is, what about the modern American processed foods diet is "meant to be" to begin with? We're so far removed from what humans ate even a hundred years ago.

I thought you were supposed to eat, in grams of protein, half your body weight. How much are we supposed to have?
