Nutrition can help with the insulin resistance but some with PCOS/nonclassic adrenal hyperplasia have very elevated testosterone, which causes the acne. Nutrition would not address this, as far as I know.
I am guessing if you could regulate your testosterone with diet, men would start buying up diet books by the boatload.
Just FYI, there are a bunch of herbs and vitamins that help naturally raise testosterone in those that have low testosterone. I know this is not what someone with PCOS needs - but just responding to your other comment. Zinc, Vit D, healthy fats, aromatase inhibitors, resveratrol, etc. And they are buying books, magazines, and supplements by the boatload
