I know you ordered some already, but if you don't likes them, Kohls has $30 towels at $15 each. I'd put them as close to Lands End quality. Much more plush than Target.

Target towels are thin, but they hold up for years, FWIW.

I get my "beach" towels at target but pay $5. I just go to their normal towel aisle and buy ones that are beachy colors. The nice thing is that the ones that are not normal bathroom colors are often on sale or clearance.

Thanks for this rec!! Not OP, but was also in need of beach towels, so went to Costco today and picked up some. Great colors, great thick feel, 100% Egyptian cotton. Like them already!

Thanks everyone! I went with lands end since I can't resist a sale. Hope they are the "good" ones.

Land's End can be hit or miss. I used to buy their towels ALL the time. Even for gifts.

The ones that are made in Turkey are fabulous. We've had some for years. But, I just bought ones for the kids that were from China. Way too thin. And, my son's is unraveling at the edges already. I know Lands End is great about returns, but I wish they were holding up better.

I also really dislike the PBK ones.

No good suggestions as I'm now looking for good ones too!

I just bought the softest beach towels at Walmart. No joke. $5.88.
