Love the Ikea glasses.

Sure, glass breaks -- but no more or less than our C&B glasses.

We bought some Bormioli glassware at Bed Bath and Beyond made in Italy.

I have had the same experience with IKEA glasses. They break easily, even from just clinking together in the sink.

My Libbey glassware is 15 years old, no chips & I dont even think one has broken despite heavy use

Another vote for Duralex. My glasses from Crate and Barrel have all broken, so I just bought more Duralex.

we also got duralex once we had kids. Very sturdy. Got first set from amazon and then bigger ones from Williams Sonoma.

I got a couple of 18 piece sets of Duralex at Costco maybe 2 years ago at a great price--maybe $25/set. Not sure if they carry it any more, I haven't gone down those aisles for a while.

Duralex french bistro glasses. I once had once bounce down an entire flight of stairs without breaking.

I prefer the original, non-stacking design. Available at World Market and also at Williams-Sonoma, I think.

We use these http://www.casa.com/p/bormioli-rocco-stackable-glass-16-1-4-oz-set-of-6-240480. We have 4 different sizes. My son loves the 11oz mugs We've not dropped them from great heights but we have dropped them and they don't break.

I love most that they are stackable. Saves so much space. I bought them at casa.com (the housewares branch of diapers.com) but when I just googled them it looks like you can get them at target or amazon and other places.

Same here. They are extremely durable which comes in handy you want to toss all those plastic kids cups.

+1. We got great glasses from Libbey there for maybe a third of what something similar costs at Pottery Barn or C&B.
