You're splitting hairs. The US lost 58k lives defending South Vietnam and we guaranteed their future security. We secured the release of our POWs from the Hanoi Hilton, most of whom were Commissioned Officers. The war was not finished! Then the North attacked South Vietnam and it fell to the Communists. Enlisted ground forces who were captured and taken as POWs were never returned from Vietnam or Korea.
Americans don't give a damn about enlisted men an women who are taken as POWs.

Bergdahl looks nothing like his photo from before he went missing. He looks older and more haggard than a man pushing 60 and he's only in his 20s. He looks like hell in the video.
Didn't say he looked healthy. Go look at pictures of concentration camp survivors. Big difference.

I guess the thin, skeletal Jews liberated from Nazi concentration camps were also "pretty healthy" by your reckoning.
If you think Bergdahl looked like a concentration camp survivor, I suggest you spend a day at the Holocaust Museum.

Twisting the facts here. The war was over for the United States. He was released after the Paris Peace Accords. South Vietnam fell after the US pulled out.

"Was not dying" - And you know this how? Are you a physician, did you personally evaluate Bergdahl's physical condition?
He looked pretty healthy when he got onto the helicopter. Obama should change his foreign policy over the next 2 years. Every time he has the urge to do something, he should do the opposite. It's the only way to save his presidency.
"Pretty healthy???" He was pale, gaunt, shriveled and skeletal, weak, looked like he was having trouble seeing, he shuffled along with a limp and without any energy, he was holding his one arm as though it were injured, and by all accounts he could barely speak and didn't even know his own name.
I guess the thin, skeletal Jews liberated from Nazi concentration camps were also "pretty healthy" by your reckoning.

They should have just let him die as a POW. after all he's just a working class American marine. Now if he were the son of a Navy Admiral he might be worth saving. If you don't believe me, just ask Senator John McCain.
