Crocs Adrina flats: http://www.crocs.com/crocs-adrina-flat/11238,default,pd.html. They're reasonably cute, they don't look like crocs, and they're amazingly lightweight and comfortable.

I have a pair of JCrew ballet flats (Cece) that are super comfortable--better than sneakers for me because they aren't as hot.

Sandals are rarely comfortable for me because they always seem to rub in the wrong places.

ETA - Most days I walk about 3-6 miles, sometimes more, in these shoes.

I have some Danskos that I can walk forever in, and I also love my wood-soled clogs. I wear a lot of Sven clogs, some Swedish Hasbeens, some other brands.

I get really bad tendonitis if I wear soles that are too soft.
