I find Mediterranean to be carb heavy.
I agree with PP about Indian being a great healthy option, but it's definitely healthier as a home-cooked version vs the restaurant style.
Japanese sushi and sashimi is good also chirashi , but regular cooked Japanese dishes can be laden with msg.
