Not the PP, but I'm a woman who does wear hose. I've never got a yeast infection or a UTI. I don't even understand how wearing hose would cause either of these.

I'd say it is more a literal generation divide -- ON AVERAGE (always exceptions to the rule) those in their 20s and early 30s do not wear them on a regular basis, some will wear them for interviews. Older than that it is much more common. Don't assume that millenials/younger Gen Xers aren't in higher level positions. They are. And many got there without wearing pantyhose.
As for me, I never even thought about it. I'm 30. I've never worn them. Never had an issue and am a senior director at a nonprofit.
