Another only here. I have a childhood best friend I talk to on a near daily basis. There are a few friends from college and my first jobs that I talk to or get together with at least once a month. Then I have a group of 5 other mom friends that I've become really close with. I don't have a ton of people I consider friends but I'm introverted and like to keep my circle small.

I have mixed feelings about being an only. Both of my parents came from large families. Depending on which side I was visiting, it could be like a real life version of the Cosby show or ring side seats to the Solange/Jay Z elevator fight.

Yes! I always wanted siblings and now that I'm older I wish I had sibilings

I have 2 kids, no singles for me! DH comes from a big family and the gatherings, while stressful are really fun.

Yes. I enjoyed being an only child. I have good relationships with my parents, cousins, and other family members. I have an only child as well.

I make friends with people easily but prefer not to have a billion friends and go out all the time. No way of telling whether I'm naturally low key or was influenced by having a decent amount of alone time growing up. I try to socialize my own child more than I was, but I still had a nice childhood.

Only child here, with antisocial parents who never made any friends and did their best to keep me from developing friendships. Not a healthy way to grow up.

I am happy that my 2 children get along well.
I appreciate the friends I have made as an adult.
