It is less about counting the calories as it is being very conscious of what I am consuming. Every Hershey kiss counts and it makes me think about what I'm eating instead of just grabbing a handful of whatever.
My second best tip is to figure out if you have any trigger foods. Chocolate is it for me so that is something easy that I can cut out. I don't believe in total deprivation but if you can easily cut something out it can help. Maybe it is a daily cappuccino, or that handful of nuts, or whatever.
Third, look at your exercise routine and figure out how to step it up a notch. Whether that is adding intervals, tacking on another 10 minutes to each workout, or lifting heavy(-ier) weights, do something more than what you're currently doing.
Finally, focusing on filling foods that are high fiber and high protein. A green smoothie, a 1/2 cup of yogurt with a little granola, some cottage cheese with the topping of your choice. You can eat well and lose weight.
This is great pp! Chocolate is so hard to give up! Congrats on your success losing the last pounds.
