I see no point in spending $300 on a pair of jeans - I don't want to wear them, wash them over and over and over again. How tedious.

The body makes the clothes. The clothes do not make the body.


That is just delusional. There is a huge difference between a well-constructed dress and a dress from target. One will make the wearer look better. The other will be ok, but don't kid yourself that people can't see the poor quality.


Invest in a high quality physique and everything will look good on you .

Upscale woman here...I love my jeans from Target! They flatter my body, and are well made. I could easily drop $250 on a "better" brand, but see no need.

Some things from there look cheap, but I have several cardigans that are great and look like new despite extensive wear. They have outlasted my higher end stuff. Their work out clothes are excellent quality too.

However, I'm not a high end woman and couldn't care less what club people think of me.

When you are in excellent shape you are able to pull off cheap/thin/clingy fabric. I have not seen crooked stitching or mismatched seams when I wear the clothes. Maybe they don't flatter you?

Target clothes frequently have seams that aren't straight and buttonholes that are off-kilter. The fit is also off on many of them.

That stuff shows even on a first wearing.
