The body makes the clothes. The clothes do not make the body.
That is just delusional. There is a huge difference between a well-constructed dress and a dress from target. One will make the wearer look better. The other will be ok, but don't kid yourself that people can't see the poor quality.

Really? Things like crooked stitching and mismatched seams are noticeable whether you wear the piece once or a thousand times. As is cheap material.
When you are in excellent shape you are able to pull off cheap/thin/clingy fabric. I have not seen crooked stitching or mismatched seams when I wear the clothes. Maybe they don't flatter you?
