Honestly, I did. I loved the names Sophia, Isabelle, and Abigail so much when I was younger. We didn't go with any of them because they were just too popular (and I found other names that I loved just as much), but yeah.

I didn't. But I'm 46, and considered them all old lady names.

I named my daughter a name I loved as a kid, but was not popular then. The name then spiked in popularity several years before she was born. I was amazed at how it rose so much and how all these other parents suddenly liked it, too. I almost chose something else but it just felt right.

They're all easy to pronounce, but that is one spelling-challenged list, at least for the girls. My god - "h", "y", and "ee" in endless profusion.

No, I liked names I grew up with. I LOVED Corey (as in Haim and Feldman) and Tamera and Erica

No. I'm in my 40s and liked names like Alyssa and Victoria and Sonya. At least that is what I named my dolls.

Alyssa peaked at #11 in 1998-1999. Average age or new moms was around 27 years old then, so born on average in 1971-1972. Those moms are in their early forties now.
