Also, this is so dog-centric. I want to know where I can take my (quiet, well-behaved) cats out for dinner. Fluffy enjoys meatballs, while Snowball prefers lean chicken breast. TIA!

You probably would have gotten more sympathetic answers if you posted in pets. We have taken our dog to lots of patios. Alexandria has many dog-friendly restaurants. And as for the comparison between dogs and kids--my preschooler does way grosser stuff than my dog.

Pets and dining don't match. Have a picnic if you want to eat with your pet. No one wants your let nearby while eating. I've seen dogs outside at LAURIOL Plaza.

Not sure if this is "between" but Annapolis is extremely dog friendly.
