They had dinner on Tuesday night. OP posted on Friday that he hadn't texted back. How pathetic is it to throw out suggestions that he might be dating someone or that something "is happening." There was time, not too long ago, when no one texted. Believe it or not, people built beautiful relationships without texting or calling each other every 5 minutes.
It's reasonable to ask if they're exclusive. OP is responding to a lack of communication after hsving two months of more frequent contact.
