When I'm pressed for time I just squirt a handul of shampoo and conditioner into my hands, rub it together and apply it. Not a big deal.

Kids combo may work in a pinch, but if you use it all the time, you'll get build up. Separate products work better to get the hair really clean.

I also use a little leave-in conditioner on high humidity days to prevent frizzy hair.

I had a bout of dandruff/dry scalp this past fall so tried Head 'n Shoulders. Planned to rotate it with my usual shampoo/conditioner but loved it so much I started using it full time, even after the dry scalp issues cleared up. Love it! If you need extra conditioning - use soft 'n silky but if you just need an average amount - I recommend green apple.
