Have mediocre numbers at 1-8 and would move for Marie Reed (#12), DC Bilingual (#52), Bancroft (#42), and some of the other common lottery / separate lottery charters, but our numbers for those are so low that we have zero chance. I wish we could trade Stokes for one of the above three!

MV? We have a low number in the waitlist and are prayerful it works out for us....if so consider Bloomingdale or Edgewood which are close and becoming more so daily. wouldn't it be nice to walk to a great school in the neighborhood? If I'm wrong then i hope walk-ability works out for you at your actual choice....sorry... I am thinking of how nice that would be for us and extrapolating out to you.![]()

Anonymous wrote:This thread is unhelpful if people don't identify the school they got into and the waitlist numbers for the higher ranked schools (non-common lottery schools). Because even if you would move to a higher ranked school, if there is no chance that it would be offered to you, then this exercise is meaningless.

Anonymous wrote:^^ I wouldn't say that PP, there are a number of posters who said they would go with their higher ranked schools. The ones that say they wouldn't jump ship are the ones who got into their #2.
