You may not like it, like alcohol and cigarettes, but that does not make her some sort of latter day Hester Prynne. And no one - especially any male from Duke - can sit in judgement of her. I would never send my daughter to Duke because of its rancid sexist atmosphere and the "boys-will-boys" attitude to male sexual misbehavior!

Her earnings will be taxable but I would be surprised if anything is withheld, and her paperwork troubles will begin soon. She won't be admitted to the bar unless she cools-off from her chosen market. She seems confused and simultaneously seeks solorful attention and shies away from it. This isn't a train wreck; it's just the beginning of a train wreck. It's unfortunate. And no, it's not THAT incredibly uncommon.

How could they turn her down for character reasons if she works for a legitimate company, pays taxes on her earnings and reports that she worked there? If it's legal, they can't ding her for it.
Yeah they can. Being a porn star isn't a protected class. Hell, even the banks are discriminating against porn actors by making them close accounts, etc. There's such a shame and stigma in being in that business.
