I have a BOB Revolution for jogging. We like the shock absorption and the fact it's lightweight and with a smooth easy push.

We also have a Phil & Ted Navigator. We have used this from the beginning, and like it a lot. We've used it on trails, gravel, city streets, bricks street etc. It can go over any terrain, we even used it through deep snow. It's rather heavy but it's a solid built stroller that will last us forever.

I have the city mini and a snap and go with my bucket seat. I use the bucket seat when the baby is still asleep when i pull into the store parking lot. I just lift the infant car seat onto the snap and go. when i need better maneuverability, i wake up the baby and put her on the city mini. city mini is really good value. it doesn't have all the bells and whistles but maneuvers well, which is helpful when trying to open a door with one hand and lugging stroller in the stores or when turning corners.

Yet another here w the britax b agile (for stores, or if the car is involved) and the bob revolution for walks from home

We use our Bob daily for runs and walks around our neighborhood. I have also have the G Luxe and use it for things like taking the metro to the zoo or if we're running errands. For the first few months, we did have the snap n go frame but rarely used it, preferred to use the ergo when out and about when DD was a newbie.

Have you already had your baby? If not, borrow a snap and go to get you through the first couple months to figure out what you want. I run, and we lived in a neighborhood with lots of uneven sidewalks, so I got a BOB. I commuted by metro, and I knew there was no way I could carry my baby, the bob, work bag and day care bag up the steps if the elevator was out (and the bob is just too big for a metro car anyway). So I got the britax b-agile. Mostly the bob stays home and if we need to tae the stroller out and about, we use the b-agile.

OP, we have the Britax B-Agile, which came highly recommended on this board last year, but apparently is no longer popular. It's a perfectly good stroller - I love that you can use it as a travel system, and then a regular stroller. It has a nice deep canopy which is great for strolling in the sun. The snack tray is totally weird - it sticks out way too far, my 10 month old can't reach it, and I wanted to be able to put a sippy cup of water or a toy or two on there, but if she can't reach it, it's pointless.

If I had to do it all over again, I would buy the Contours options stroller. It's much cheaper but has much better features. Great reviews on Amazon too.

If you are seriously considering the Uppa baby for the forward and rear facing options I would suggest also taking a look at the City Select.

You can have the baby face you or out as well as add a bassinet. We were planning ahead when we bought our stroller (knew we would want a second child) and liked the ability to add a second seat and have the older child have a good view as well. Many double tandem strollers have an obstructed view for the real seat when you have the car seat adapter in place.

Worth the trip to Great Beginnings to test out strollers. Sales people are extremely knowledgeable and there is more room to walk around compared to Buy Buy Baby. Don't get a stroller without testing it out first-handle heights/comfort vary greatly.

I went into Great Beginnings thinking I wanted a City Mini and they showed me the B-agile that just came out (2 years ago at this point). It had the easy to collapse, easy to maneuver features I liked on the City Mini, but it was easier to use the carseat adapter on the B-agile.

Agree with PP that it is a good idea to figure out what you want to get out of the stroller. If you live near a metro you want something narrow and light weight. If you are in the suburbs you may want a larger basket for shopping etc. Also assess how well paved the streets are near your house etc.

Have UB Vista and it's great for walking around, so if that's your lifestyle then this is great. Can fit a ton of groceries in the basket. No joke.
If you don't walk much I wouldn't recommend. It's bulky, heavy and if I had to lift in and out of the car every day it would get OLD.

What is the best store to test these strollers?

UB Cruz w/bassinet option & UB GLuxe- for reasons PPs have posted. Also like that UB has a pretty good resale value.

I have a bob revolution and have not needed anything else. We had the carseat adapter and now use it for errands and running. Its a bit heavier than a maclaren but I never found it to be a pain collapsing or storing. I have a rain shield as well which has been helpful. I would test them out. Everyone is different and one person's love will be hated by the next. I wanted one I coukd rely on versus a fleet of strollers like I see with other families. A good baby carrier was important for us. I used the beco and hubs the bjorn (hand me down). Good luck!

I could have written this. I love the cruz - also got the carseat attachment so as to avoid getting a separate carseat attachment. And got the travel bag so that we can take the cruz on travel. It is much better than an umberlla stroller for the sun protection alone, which is fantastic. It faces front and back and the seat can be adjusted to tilt different tilts. Love it.
