Subject: What's your favorite flowering tree?
Thanks for this thread, and please post more pictures of the trees! I'm not from here, and this is a nice thread to refer to! The pictures are beautiful!!!
Which of the ones mentioned so far is the smallest, with shallow noninvasive- roots, does anyone know?

Too many to choose from. I love them all. And I love how they all bloom at different times so that spring is just a constant procession of gorgeousness.

WE grew up with a weeping cherry in our front yard. In the spring, the branches would droop down and create sort of a tent/tunnel through which we could ride our bikes and big wheels on the walkway. I have such fond memories of that weeping cherry tree!
