If she believes that her methods keeps her kids healthy more power to her. If people don't believe in her methods then they don't have to buy her books.
People also don't believe in Ayurveda, Acupuncture, Chinese medicine, homeopathy. And yet time and again people use these remedies because conventional medicine fails them.
That's great. When you have cancer, tell me how awesome homeopathy was for curing it. And then go to a surgeon to cut the freaking tumor out.
She's been lucky so far. I have no doubt that a healthy diet will help a kid avoid some illnesses, but not all. Eventually, unless she's keeping the kid in a bubble, he's going to catch something from some schoolmate. And when that fever goes up over 105 and she's just treating it with cabbage leaves, I hope she rethinks this approach.
