We're listing in Vienna Elementary next week for something close to that price range.

That is a really interesting article. But It includes just about every neighborhood in Northern virginia, DC and maryland.

We live in City of Fairfax and love it. DH bikes to Metro. Zips are 22030 & 22031. You could also try right outside the city in 22033. Of course this all depends where you are commuting to - I would not want to go to Old Town from here.

I don't know the exact development but friends recently sold their house in Vienna (not too far from Dun Loring metro) for about that much.

Agree with PP re Cardinal Forest and Keene Mill. Good schools great area with pools, sidewalks, etc.

This neighborhood was headed downhill 25 years ago. Can't imagine it s desirable now.


Not the TH part - the SFH section, which is much larger. Plenty of neighborhoods have "pool clubs", so I am curious as to what bonuses they might be referring to? I know people who did quite well when they sold 15 or so years ago....
