The in-laws love Brick's for some reason. DH and I are a fan of Deli Italiano, Italian Store (ask them to make it extra crispy to avoid doughy centers), and Angelico's. When we were in Falls Church, our go-to was Flippin'.

I forgot about Brooklyn Bagel's pizza. They only have it at lunch, but I agree with PP. It's the closest I've had to ny pizza around here. Pizza in this area generally isn't good. The slice places in Adams Morgan are good, but Brooklyn is more convenient.

Born and raised in NY and although I've Never had their pizza, Their bagels are the closest you'll find to NY in the dc-area. I swear they must import NYC water for their bagels, bc that really is the secret ingredient.

Also, not the best by ANY means, but I find the new Little Caesars on Lee Hwy surprisingly okay for a quick, super cheap ($5!!) pizza.

Deli Italiano is decent. Pupatella and the Italian Store are great, sure, but way too much of an effin hassle for a carryout pizza. Crowded, confusing, tight parking, etc.

Depending on the day and time, their pizzas can be hot or miss. On a less busy day, they are awesome. On a busy day, they can be undercooked and doughy.

Their calzones are delish. Just wanted to put that out in the universe.
