Blue Cash:

* 1% for all other purchases

Costco:
* 3% Gas
* 2% Restaurants and all travel purchases
* 1% everything else (including Costco purchases)

That Blue Cash Amex has an annual fee, right? I have a Blue Cash Amex with percentages similar to the Costco one, but no fee.

We got $1600 back this year. Take the check to Costco and they'll cash it on the spot. LOVE it.

Anonymous wrote:We've had the Costco AmEx for two years and it's my fav card to use. 5% cash back @ Costco, 3% on gas, 1% on everything else (I may be missing something) but I use it everywhere AmEx is accepted and so far, we've gotten about $300 in cash every time (there's a fall and a spring check) so it's more than enough to cover the Costco membership fees and it usually pays for one of our Costco trips. So I think of it as a frequent buyer program - make 9 trips, and the 10th is free kinda deal.

This is not correct. See my post above. You only get 1% back at Costco. Sorry.
