Two bags of stew leftovers

Walnuts, pecans, almonds, peanuts

A couple TJs frozen meals

Some mystery containers

And most importantly, ICE CREAM

Maybe this is cheap, but any time something in the fridge is close to expiration date, I send it to the freezer. I freeze cheese, meat, bread, vegetables, bananas (for baking later). Nothing ever tastes frostbitten to me. I think that doesn't happen much with new freezers.

Off the top of my head, in my (over the fridge) freezer:

Several ziploc baggies of homemade stock
A bag of chicken bones (for making more stock)
Bags of fish stock
Ground buffalo
Ground lamb
Sausages
Chicken
A slab of ham
peas
broccoli
corn
mango
blueberries
a bag of cake crumbs
misc. bags of leftover frosting
one slice of cake left over from when my child was born
the last slice of my mother's homemade fruitcake from last time she was here

single serve casserole dishes (like mac n cheese)

cubes of tomato paste
cubes of pesto
tomato sauce
fresh pasta
couple of loaves of bread

Log of goat cheese

Probably a bunch of other stuff that I can't think of. You all sound much more minimalist that me.

Little 1/4 pound packs of ground beef and turkey that I use to toss in pasta recipes, etc. Some frozen chicken breasts. Frozen berries for smoothies. Eggo waffles. Ice cream. Frozen veggies. Usually some random leftover soup and/or lasagna/casserole.

Lots of frozen meat- ground beef, steaks, lamb, pork loin roast, bacon, chicken, salmon, tilapia

A few frozen veggies - broccoli, sliced bell peppers, peas

Frozen leftovers- waffles, pancakes, a chicken enchilada

Things that I cooked in bulk and froze small portions- black beans, cannelini beans, chicken broth, shredded roast chicken, brown rice, mashed potatoes, farro

Package of English muffins - bought on a 2 for 1 sale, froze one while eating the other

I need to clean out my freezer!

Well, on the box it says to "use or freeze by XXX date" so I started doing that when I was getting to close to the exp. date and figured I was going to have to toss some.

So far, all the ones I've thawed have tasted fine to me.

50lbs of deer meat, tons of pre made casseroles, frozen edamame (we have an addiction), lots of frozen fruit.

When we were fridge shopping, freezer space was more important to us than fridge space.

We have eat through the freezer week every six weeks. No grocery store visit that week except for milk. We're at the end of it, and all that is left is waffles, one pack of ground turkey, mixed veggies, a few frozen bananas for smoothies and one dinner's worth of salmon servings.

Kitchen freezer: Chicken nuggets, two freezer packs, berries, about 4 frozen dinners, ice cream, pie crust, frozen veggies. In the garage freezer: costco pack of chicken, salmon, frozen pizza, box of frozen hamburgers, box of thin mints, some trader joe foods if we have guests and need to serve a little something- artichoke dip, mini quiches, mini chicken pot pies

A Costco size bag of frozen chicken breasts (about half full)
A costco bag of Ling Ling Potstickers
About 2 cups of frozen cranberries
A couple "single servings" of Wholly Guacamole
A huge bag (but only one serving remaining) of Alexia sweet potato fries
A TON of ice cubes
3 or 4 of those blue ice things you freeze and put in coolers/lunch boxes.
