My husband was there. No one who actually came to the lottery draw IN PERSON won a spot. He estimated around two dozen or so parents attended. Some sad people in that room.

I wonder if the paid line stander person was able to beat the online applicants for the #1 wait list spot...

They drew first PK4. There were 9 spots for PK4. One set of twins got 2 out of the 9. Then there were two ¨winners¨with siblings also entering the lottery: one for 2nd grade and one for K. Then they drew the 5 spots for PK3. One of the ¨winners¨had a sibling applying for PK4, so I guess that sibling goes to the top of the WL for PK4. People have after April 29 to accept. After that, families taken from the WL are given 1 week to accept. Come late summer, you are given 24 hours to accept. You need to enroll in person (per OSSE).

Doubtful. They always need an even number of classes for rotating English/Mandarin starting in K.

huh, so the twin will take the first PK wait list spot. And then will it move at all?
With only 10 non siblings granted admission, how many of them will even decline? This may be the year that the wait list doesn't even move. So much for all the standing-in-line and time stamp nonsense.

Of course there are. That is why there were only a few slots.

Well, maybe there are K, 1st, 2nd, etc students that have PK3 siblings.
