Subject: Does anyone else have multiple inboundary schools?
Whittier trusdall and LaSalle Backus. Would the boundary redraw fix that or would those be my "controlled choices"

Interesting. OP here, we need to decide between Langley, Garrison and Seaton. Only Langley is conveniently located. Garrison seems more popular but it's not walking distance so would not really be a "neighborhood" school for us. Likewise Seaton (minus the popularity).
If I recall from the boundary map, bloomingdale/le droit where you are is the only place where this choice of 3 schools occurs.

IB for Bruce Monroe @ Park View and Raymond. I only found out about Raymond when I created an account on myschooldc, and never took the time to visit, but try to be an involved neighbor/prospective parent for Bruce Monroe.

We're IB for Powell and Raymond EC. Raymond became an option when McFarland closed last year.

I think it's really nice to have three options and I just assumed everyone did until I asked a coworker who is IB for Eaton and realized that it was just the areas with "perceived as crappy" schools that have more than one option.

Yes, but also for those who did the lottery for PS3/4 because you would get IB preference at 2-3 schools. I didn't even have IB preference at 1 school (by choice of course because our IB is not really a good option).
