I am a good cook and do most of our cooking, my wife is not good at all but what I have learned, is to eat what she makes. You can push him to do better, there are some super easy things and not clear why anyone would be boiling meat which makes me think you are exaggerating in your complaint, but you should also just eat what you get and be thankful.

Sign up for cooking classes together, teach him, or do without.

Maybe it would help you husband to plan more simply meals.

This. I would tell him, in a kind way, if you don't like something. It is the only way he will improve.

Start with something he knows and likes to eat. Whats his favorite resturant and/or dish?

I like plated.com and relished foods.com. The meals are delivered with step by step recipe cards, and ingredients that are already portioned.
