it's one piece but the deep neckline makes it seem less mom-like to me - and the ruching hides a lot of flaws. i've had three Cs, so I have the overhang too and this really helps hide it. unfortunately, i later bought a jcrew two piece thinking my stomach was flat enough, but then didn't realize until after Id worn it than you can totally see the "overhang" from the side.

I have a similar shape and wear Lands End halter tankinis which come down over my stomach even in the regular bottom. But I just tried on a Tommy Bahama suit last week and it was SO flattering! I'd recommend you try the one you found at Zappos. Best suit I've ever seen!

Love halter tops for the vintage-look, and if you have a nice decolletage, it brings the eye up. I have one from Land's End that also has a shirred mid-section and ties on the sides to adjust the length. Pair that with one of their high-rise bottoms if you want more support in the belly. You can't tell that it's a high rise bottom at all. Their suits are very comfortable, too, so good for chasing after LO's at the pool. Even with the slightly plunging neckline, I don't feel like I'll fall out like cheaper (and more expensive) suits I've had from elsewhere.

For what it's worth, it sounds like you have an awesome body and shouldn't be as self-conscious as at least 80% of women like you.

This retro one has a cherry print. It is from Esther Williams--not as much holding power as a Miracle suit, which is what I have to wear. Buy them at L and T.

I think this one is pretty cute. I like that the tank top is flowy and that you get 3 separate pieces. Seems easy to wear at the pool with kids and not be too self conscious. I guess tankini screams 'mom' and 'almost 40' - but I'm a mom who's almost 40, so I better suck it up.

I am sorry...I know we are not friends, but if you were my friend, I would never let you leave the house with any of these bathing suits. Please do not wear these. They even look hideous on the model! I know you like retro, and there are a lot of great retro suits, but do not wear these. They will make you look older, and they are not figure flattering at all. I promise I do not mean to sound snarky, and I am sure that you are a beautiful woman, but these suits would not flatter anyone.

Looks a lot like the MiracleSuit, which is what I was going to suggest. 37 year old mom here and it's the only suit I will wear. It may not be the height of fashion but it significantly decreases my self-consciousness about my stomach
