No, I have not noticed this. My DH has almost no lashes or brows, and he is quite hairy elsewhere.

Men's body hair is coarser but not their eyelashes. Testosterone doesn't change them. All hair is not the same. It seems like hair on the eyes, forehead and head is different than the rest of the body.

I have thick, long eyelashes that are blonde-tipped. I can't imagine how oil would make them show up. Plus I'd probably end up with oil in my eyes.

I do think a lot of mascaras make our lashes more brittle and stiff, and likely to come out. Look for a mascara that leaves your lashes very soft. It makes a difference.

Possibly men's lashes are, like their other hair, slightly more coarse than women's, so they look thicker.

No, they aren't. So are much more round, some are much smaller. A true almond shaped eye isn't something you see every day.

Eyelash hair is not related to testosterone though. Men aren't hairier anyway, they have the same amount of those fine (vellus) hairs as kids and then they turn darker. Women keep the fine hairs. Like you guys realize men don't suddenly grow follicles all over during puberty right? The fine ones turn dark. Eyebrows and eyelashes don't change. Men do not suddenly have great eyelashes or whatever during puberty. Testosterone has a negative influence on head hair, no influence on eyelash or eyebrow hair. Eyebrows seem related to gender because women pluck them. All hair is not the same.

I do think it's related to ethnicity, Asians rarely have noticeable eyelashes and it's true for men and women. Southern Europeans, Indians, Middle Eastern people (especially Indians) tend to have the best eyelashes. They have the most hair on their head. The women might seem hairier however I think the vellus hairs are just darker because THEY are darker then whiter people are.

Hairier people have longer lashes and thicker brows because brows and lashes are, you guessed it, hair.

Look at Middle Eastern and Indian women, for instance. Long lashes and thick brows because they are hairy all over when not waxed and plucked, often with moustaches to boot.

Blue eyes are uncommon, and if uncommon means "exotic" then I guess they are therefore attractive. I personally like green eyes.

Men don't have longer eyelashes. I read a study that said women tend to have curlier eyelashes and their lower ones are longer. The top ones in women were only slightly longer. I'm pretty sure the difference is barely perceptible.

Long eyelashes are considered attractive because they are youthful and submissive. The main difference between men and women overall is that women have smaller faces. They look closer to children.

Arent all eyes almond shaped? Look at an almond- that's the shape of an eye.

I am light blue-eyed natural brunette and there is no way I'd risk the documented side effect of darkening iris. My eyes are my thing.

I personally think the shape of the eyes are more of a determinant of beauty than the color. But everyone is different. I just really love alone shaped eyes. Would totally take gorgeous dark almond shaped eyes over round, boring blue ones.

Yep. I have dark hair, super dark, almost black eyelashes, and mainly black lashes that are blonde on the end. So annoying. I need to wear mascara or my lashes look about half as long.

Unlike women, men are harier, therefore, it should be no suprise that, yes, men have longer and thicker eyelashes than women. Look at certain, Indian men, they have a lot of thick hair on their body, and therefore have really long and thick eyelashes. This is just my opinion.
