02:15 here, hi PP. I agree, that Alex would have needed much more stage presence. But based on singing along, I still prefer what he does versus Caleb or Jena; these two have much more performance ability, but I don't think I prefer their singing (and that's what would induce me to buy an album).

I like a lot of the songs Alex chose to sing, but he has zero charisma and can't possibly succeed as an artist on his own. He screams "rhythm guitarist/backing vocals" to me.

And also, contestants from parts of the country like New England that don't care about this shit never win.

For anyone watching, what do you think of the 2 remaining singers? I was sad to see Alex Preston voted off. If I were to buy an album of one of the remaining artists, I would get Alex's songs; not really sure for Caleb, and maybe for Jena, for some songs.

Does anyone else think that the two contestants Jena Irene and Jessica Meuse have some physical resemblance? I do, similar eyes, smile, though Jena (who is younger) has more of a baby face ... take a look:

I was a PP who mentioned that Alex Preston is my favorite on this season. In case others missed it, or enjoy listening to to it again (like I do), this latest performance was just beautiful:

We watched intermittently during season 2-4, watched religiously (and voted) seasons 5-9. Season 9 without Simon was bad, so we stopped watching. No idea what happened seasons 10-

It went downhill fast after Simon left, so I haven't watched in years. I did catch an episode this season, and I thought HCJ was a great judge, though. He's the only one who keeps it real. JLo is meh and Keith Urban, bless his heart, is absolutely horrible. In the episode I watched, he actually said something along the lines of, it's okay if you sing out of tune as long as you put a lot emotion into your singing! Me and HCJ were both like... "Wut?"

No, but I watched the first few seasons.

If I'm going to watch a singing competition, The Voice is what I watch. I like the format and the judges, and they don't have as many of the awful productions with all of the contestants singing together.

I normally like JLo. She's starting to seem like Madonna though. Too desperate. The lip synching and the short shorts were too much.

Did anyone enjoy J-Lo's performance last night?

Haven't watched in several seasons. Lost interest because it seemed like a bunch of 16 yos who couldn't sing very well.

I havent watched since Fantasia won. I do watch and enjoy The Voice though.
