Kristina and Max -- reminds me of Margie and her son (can't remember his name) from this season of Amazing Race. Yes, he's deaf and has to overcome quite a bit, but he's a big baby and she enables him. Please, throwing tantrums? He's at least in his mid-20s. He cries b/c things are too frustrating and hard. Anyway, rant over.

No, she's just at school.

She's away at college (Cornell?).

Zeke normally annoys me so much, but when he's good, he's just great. Loved his visit to Joel.

Sidney is annoying in every single scene she has EVER been in. She's more annoying than Dana in Homeland.

I'm totally on team Sarah this episode. Max was out of line. How else could she have handled it? Risk missing a critical deadline? I can't stand when Christina goes into Mama Bear mode over Max. I know I should find it admirable, but I don't. Or I guess I do in theory, but Max aggravates me. I wish they'd give him some (any!) endearing qualities. And I say this as a parent to a similar kind of kid.

Drew-- You have no claim on Natalie. Stop being pissed that she has a life of her own.

I hope they don't sell the house. It's one of the best characters in the whole show.

She had an emotional affair, and lied about it.

I disagree. She had no romantic illusions about that guy. She only ever saw him as a friend, albeit one she became too close to. If he had been a woman, all of those same actions and thoughts would have been completely benign. They shared the kind of stuff that girlfriends share with each other. She just needed a friend. During that whole period, she kept trying to connect to Joel (i.e. the scene where she went to his work trailer wearing sexy things to seduce him). Her romantic focus was always Joel.

Good. I'm thinking he must have fallen for another women. I don't see him as coming out as gay-not because of stereotypes. I just think we would have seen more of a struggle with sexuality before this. I don't think it's that he's struggling with depression. Must be another woman.

I bet it has to do with Pete and his drunken night where Crosby found him buying cake.

Lol yea, I agree! I have mixed kids, one of whom has blonde hair and blue eyes, but she has VERY curly hair and "mixed" features! That was definitely a white baby!

My cousin's fiancé is half black and you'd never know it. She has curly hair now but it was pin straight and blonde when she was really little.

My son's half Asian and you wouldn't guess it either. The Asian side calls him "White boy" as he looks just like me. Green eyes and all.

I loved the scene with Amber and Drew high. I think Mae Whitman is an amazing actress.

Sara was completely right. Kristina drives me batty with the whining.

I still don't get Joel and all of that!

I love the house, its just a really great set. I hate how Hattie is no longer. Even if the actress (sorry don't know her name) couldn't come back why can't they at least acknowledge Hattie in conversation or bring her up once in awhile to make it seem more legit.

I thought that too, but now I think the mom is going to change her mind.
