It could be true but I highly doubt it. If he was worried about catching something from her vaginally, why wouldn't he worry about catching something from her orally? If they had a physical relationship for years, why would they have limited it to oral sex? And, for me, I'm not buying the oral sex leads to no expectations but vaginal sex does. In this case, if I was really trying to determine if I could salvage my marriage, I'd be tempted to call her and ask her how far they went because I just couldn't get past the implausibility of this.
