Our K daughter has a bit of homework on weekends (e.g., spend 20 minutes doing math games on DreamBox Learning, or read a short story (or have it read to her) and answer three questions about it). She likes it, in part because she sees her older sister doing daily homework and it makes her feel older.

heck I have been giving my child a couple of handwriting worksheets and having them read a couple of early reader books to me since 3 a few times a week. Not a big deal really if this continued in PreK or K in opinion. I wouldn't want to see much more than that though.

Wow, we have a little bit (reading, short math homework) every day in our FCPS school. Wish we didn't!

Burgundy. No homework in K.
SSSAS no homework in K, but some project start going home in spring. They want you to read with your child.
