If you are looking for a pre-K through 2nd, Primary Day School was terrific for our son. We applied late and got in; Loved it! He is now at a Big 3.

The silver lining is that you will find a nice school you like that costs 15-20 thousand less. Every year. That is a car. Every year.

I would call around you really never know. Are you able to commute to md? Try Wes, Norwood, St. Andrews, Bullis. You just never know- some years and some grades are " off" admissions wise for random reasons- so give it a try!

But I don't think any of those schools will have openings right now, will they? OP needs a school for next year it sounds like.

Almost any private school in Md except Holton and Landon is "under the radar" to some extent on DCUM -- St. Andrew's, Bullis, Stone Ridge (Cath. girls)/St. Johns (same boys), Sandy Springs, etc. (and I'll put in a quick plug for St. Andrew's here - love it)
