The commentaries were strong and detailed though it definitely focused more on the verbal and critical thinking rather than the quantitative. The teacher herself brought up that our son was clearly cut out for AAP and offered to refer if he didn't make the cut off - a statement that apparently is very strong (and she said she hardly ever offered this). I guess was hoping the GBRS would be a 15 or 16 to help more. This is my eldest child- just hopefully asking AAP who have BTDT.

Did you ask your kid's teacher or AART?
Is it ok to ask them?

We were talking to DC's teacher last week and she mentioned the GBRS. I so wanted to ask the score BUT decided I'd hold back. I didn't she'd give it without an actual sheet in front of her.
It would suck if she verbally told me the wrong score.

How did your DC do?

I think they do. The AART at our school implied to me that they make a copy of everything that is submitted.
DC's AART did (last year). I emailed her and asked to see the file. She made a copy of it and left it for me in the office. That was fine with me since she's part-time and it would have been hard to get in to see her. If I had any concerns with the file or if DC hadn't been accepted first round, but I didn't want to take up her time just to see what was in the file.
