and if you have satellite radio there are French Canadian stations.

I watched an episode last night and it was incredibly gritty. The local TV station MHZ often runs French shows as part of its international mystery offerings (usually at 9pm). I set my DVR for the series and record Braquo and anything that happens to running in French and I've got quite a little library now. You can check a show's language on the website:
http://www.mhznetworks.org/

On FIOS it's channel 451.

"Le diner de cons": Side-splitting dialogue!

"Les Visiteurs", just the first movie: excellent parody of medieval speech (maybe a bit difficult to appreciate?) and wonderful acting by Valerie Lemercier as resident aristocrat - her accent and tone are to the manner born. She is absent from subsequent movies, therefore they are worthless.

Oh, and my kids love the old "Gendarme" comedies featuring the notorious Louis de Funes as the hyperactive and cantakerous gendarme. Start with "Le Gendarme de St Tropez" (1964), first and best in the series.

Enjoy yourself!

I am American and lived in France when Les Visiteurs originally came out. Even with the difficult French it was still very funny. I also love Valerie LeMercier. She reminds me a lot of Ana Gasteyer formerly of SNL and now on Suburgatory.
