And the owner is going to DE for a panel while her part rottweiler is roaming residential neighborhoods. Did she ever accept responsibility publicly for the offleash dog? I once had a dog larger than that and if the leash is held properly you don't drop it when/if the dog takes off.

Clearly the dog was not under her control. I stopped walking one of my dogs onleash in various parks due to the lovely [NOT] people who took dogs there and left them off leash. Rottweiler mix off leash anywhere is not a good idea.

This woman is just doing what anyone would do if they lost someone/something they love. I can't believe how negative people can be. I hope she doesn't let the bastards get her down. I wish her so much luck.

I have met a friend of Havoc's owner who was posting the fliers. I introduced myself and asked her some questions. I have two dogs and would be devastated if one was lost.

Havoc is a mixed breed rescue, not at all dangerous, young, and YES, microchipped.

If noone turns the dog into a pound or vet however, the microchip cannot be read. Someone might have just taken him in, like an older couple, who doesnt get out much and thus hasnt seen the signs.

This lost dog (Havoc) is part Rottweiler (confirmed) and wasn't on a leash. Swell.

You saw it on aol? That's messed up.

Even if the dogs had been leashed they could have broken loose if they really wanted to chase the deer.

This dog is microchipped.

The dog in the video above (from Texas) WAS microchipped, which was how they found his family right away.
