A lot of women date and ultimately marry a man who's not as hot as they are. Doesn't mean they don't love the guy they picked - they may love him for all the qualities he has that their hotter previous boyfriends didn't.

Not that big of a deal (age gap), but it sounds like a win/win. He wants young and hot, they want money.

Also, if all you know about these girls is that he thinks they're interested in him and what they look like, I don't see how you're really in a position to judge their sincerity. Like several of the PPs, I've almost always dated older men. Sometimes they had money, which was nice but not necessary. The man I am married to now is nearly 10 years older than me and I'm a lot hotter than he is. Would you assume by looking at us that I married him for his money? It would be a dumb thing to assume, since I actually make more than he does.

It sounds as if he knows deep down that they are financially interested (he told you he didn't lead with money this time - dead giveaway). So if you respect him and have his well-being at heart, just listen and be sympathetic.

Even the ugly and socially awkward can find love, OP. And if it starts off as a mere transaction, it might end differently.
