For those of you who have been successful at losing weight, how do you avoid the tempting snacks? Do you just not buy them for the kids?

Buy healthy snacks for you kids! Why should they eat unhealthy options?
I get the following for my kids:
-clementines, grapes, bananas
-apples and peanut butter or almond butter
-carrots or celery and hummus
-homemade trail mix
-dates and dried fruits(mango, apricots, cranberries, raisins...)
-whole wealth baguette with a piece of cheese
-whole weat crackers and nutella

They eat all the above (minus the Nutella), thanks. I also throw in goldfish, animal crackers, pretzels and the occasional box of cookies - this is where the trouble for me usually begins.
