I will give you Williams, but your post lost all credibility when he likened Rhee to Williams. Ha, Rhee made a terrible situation of DCPS worst. Now if you live in Ward 3, I can see why you would think Rhee was great for the city, but if you live in one of the other 7 wards where she combined Elementary school space and children with Middle school children, you would be foolish to think Rhee was great.

Nothing inconsistent at all. They like Rhee (and Fenty). Henderson is like Rhee and worked with her. Kind of stupid to attribute her to Gray and not to Fenty. Kind of stupid to attribute her to anyone at all.

You do know that most successful people you know via the news own multiple business, sometimes seemingly in conflict with each other, right? In short, capital is very, very concentrated.
The Post is disappointing recently though. I used to really love their Op-Ed pages. Not so much anymore. I don't know if that's because my "politics" have changed somewhat -- and, thus, it is unfair to criticize the Post when it was me that changed -- or if the Post really did go downhill. Does the endorsement of Bowser make more sense given that Catania cannot be endorsed yet since he isn't running? That's what I've used as my consolation.

Wells and Evans have said they would keep her. Bowser has been non-committal, but I can't believe she wouldn't keep her. One would think Henderson's job would be endangered if Shallal won, but I haven't heard him say either way.

As the OP, I agree. Wasn't trying to attack Don Graham. Just trying to place his opinion piece in a political context. There is more to this than a fondness for Henderson and a benevolent spirit toward the public school children of DC. It's that political context that is worth discussion.
