Not sure where Henderson falls within this, but being from DC should disqualify you from government.

They have such a strong ideological bent -- and I agree completely with Jeff that's it's entirely proper to raise the issue of an associated financial interest -- that the op-eds continually contort/distort the facts as needed to keep to the story line.
Anonymous wrote:Nothing inconsistent at all. They like Rhee (and Fenty). Henderson is like Rhee and worked with her. Kind of stupid to attribute her to Gray and not to Fenty. Kind of stupid to attribute her to anyone at all.
Anonymous wrote:This is the Post having its cake and eating it, too. Endorse Bowser because Gray is way too icky but back your way into a wink-wink Gray endorsement with this piece on Henderson. They are a joke.
Anonymous wrote:The Post is really worthless. They have endorsed Bowser and adored Rhee. It's not a credible publication, and that's not even getting into Graham's involvement with Kaplan.

A new chancellor means vastly incompatible hopes and dreams all get fought out through the naming, appointment, and actions of a new person. WTU: angry. New parents: angry. Longtime residents: angry. Reformer-types: angry. Lots of people in Ward 3, Ward 2, Ward 1, Ward 4, Ward 5, 6, 7 and 8 are unhappy. But many see a forward trajectory and that counts for SO much. This is DCPS we're talking about, the modern reason for the growth of DC's suburbs in spite of horrendous commutes.
Who could really live up to a situation like that and not make some players really angry? At least now, the rage has work off and there is system to work with, shape and improve.
