I find it funny all these posters saying "no one that went to Law school (med school, etc.) with me did that!"

Yes they did. They just didn't tell you. I didn't tell anyone when I stripped.

Hahaha. That would be funny to hear if you were on a panel answering questions. From a perspective student: "Law school is expensive. Besides loans and scholarships, what financial resources are available?" Someone from the audience blurts out, "Sexwork." Cue you.

No, I would not. I don't want weak values being passed down to my kids.

"Plenty of women"? How many is "plenty"? I'm female, went to law school and I don't know plenty of women who did any one thing before or during law school.

+1 nobody in my med school did that. We were pretty close as a group

This. Guess we run in different circles.

I thought OP said no "Fantasy" responses??

This is a typical male fantasy of med/law school student stripping. That and the "French maid"!

A lot depends on the woman. Some strippers have a LOT of other issues and baggage. Some, as other PPs have said, are making an economically rational decision about making money to get through school.

If she's the former, she's going to have issues, drama and baggage whether she's a stripper or not. If the latter, then it's possible.

I met her while she was a college student and stripper. She was open about it and stripped through college and grad school. We didn't start dating until her last year of grad school. I'd pick her up at work but didn't like watching. We got engaged at the end of grad school, she stripped for about three more months? Maybe two? Then got a job in her field and quit.
