This is the one we got. So far I love it and she should be able to wear it for a couple of years. Also got her a down vest and a fleece hoodie.

LL Bean Katahdin jackets here, too. We've bought one every 1-2 years for my 6yo DS; younger DS wears the hand-me-downs.
I like the versatility of a relatively lighter jacket; can wear it over a shirt on medium-cold days or with multiple layers on a really cold day. They are great in rain and snow. Perfect length - they prevent snow from creeping in around his waist, but not so long as to interfere with activities.
My favorite feature is the good - the elastic band keeps it in place on his head, while the overhang keeps rain/snow from dripping onto his face. Yeah, I'm a fan

We're also on our second Lands End squall parka. We managed to get two years out of the first one due to the arms you can extend and that one seriously still looks brand new so it'll get passed down to our younger kid. I considered the 3-in-1 parka but the reviews complained about the sleeves turning inside out and being hard to get on for little kids. My 5-year-old has never complained about being cold in it, although I do sometimes put him in an extra layer if it's really cold out. I'm pretty sure he'll be able to wear the same jacket next year unless he grows a foot between now and then!
I've also bought a couple of the kids down jackets from Eddie Bauer, on sale, for something a little lighter and they've held up really well, too. I think we have a Downlight jacket from last year and a Microtherm down jacket from this year.
