I like them at Bardia's New Orleans Cafe on 18th st Adams Morgan. They would not travel 30 minutes well. But hot out of the flyer are yummy.

17:34 - I've had the muffaletta there and it's great. I have not had the gumbo. Would also recommend Louisiana kitchen and Acadiana.

Had it for lunch today - AMAZING. The collards were totally underwhelming, but my jive turkey sandwich was so delicious, as were the cheese straws and my companion's muffuletta. The king cake was great - usually it's so bland and tasteless.

Amazon sells CDM coffee and beignet mix and you can have them in 2 days through Prime!

I haven't done the beignets but I order the coffee all the time.
