We got the notification Thursday afternoon and no luck. Honestly, it came as a bit of a surprise, given feedback from her teachers. But, despite great recommendations and essays, her test scores were just not quite high enough. Thems the breaks! It is a bummer for all, but life goes on!

For the poster who asked for info: My child was accepted at RM. Unlike the MS magnets, there was no indication of DC's score on the test in the information provided. There is both an open house and day to visit next week. The deadline to accept is Feb 21.

My child was wait pooled for all three houses at Poolesville and rejected at RM.

Received our notice from Takoma today. According to the time stamp on the envelope, all notices were mailed out on the 4th.

Got our letter from Takoma today. Everyone beware though! They are sending acceptance letters in small envelopes so don't assume a small envelope means rejection. I know Eastern sent their notices in huge packets but Takoma just mailed two pieces of paper in a standard envelope.
